Fifty-Six Capital is a London investment firm, and the technology arm of a Swedish family's holding company in Stockholm.
What we do
We lead or join a round, take a seat on the board, and stay for as long as the company needs an owner with patience. We make few investments and follow each one closely.
What we look for
We look for commercial traction first: paying customers, active users or a product already in the market, rather than a plan.
We want founders who know their industry from the inside, and a board that brings experience and judgement.
We invest in software and financial infrastructure, and we are most useful where a company has to make, move, install or finance physical things.
What we bring
Few investors have run factories. Our family's businesses machine parts for cars and spacecraft, and build and install lifts. Their engineers, designers, buyers and logistics specialists are a network we open to the companies we back.
When a founder needs a supplier vetted, a product made in volume, a distributor found in Asia or a design taken seriously, we know the people who do that work every day.
Leadership
Alexander Falk
Alexander Falk leads Fifty-Six Capital and is co-CEO of the family office behind the group. Alongside his active roles, he is a private investor, sits on the boards of several early-stage companies, and invests in and develops real estate. He was an early adopter of digital assets. He holds a BA in History, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Management from University College London.

Legal
Gannons is a London commercial law firm acting for private companies and their shareholders. We work with its founder, Catherine Gannon, who qualified as an accountant before she qualified as a solicitor and is also a chartered tax adviser. She advises on share structures, investment agreements, share schemes and reorganisations, and speaks regularly for the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Accounts, audit and tax
Carbon Accountancy is a firm of chartered accountants in London, acting for companies from start-ups to international groups. Its chief executive, John Leyden, is a chartered accountant who spent seven years at KPMG and has since worked on fundraisings and on the sale and purchase of private companies. He also sits as a part-time finance director in venture-backed companies.
